Pupils at Kilcreggan Primary had a warm welcome back to school at the start of term. Piper Harvey Ferguson piped the pupils into school on the first day back. Primary Seven pupils led the children and staff into the building while parents watched . Primary 1 pupils were the last to enter giving parents big smiles and cheerful waves as they went.
Parents of Primary 1 pupils commented on what an exciting way it was to start their primary school careers.
What a brilliant idea. The new Primary 1 pupils must have felt really special. Did they ask if it could happen every morning instead of the bell? I saw the children in the “Helensburgh Advertiser” too.
