Rockfield Primary held a very successful sports day, at Mossfield Stadium, for the whole school. The day consisted of both competitive races and clan activities. The day was started by Oban High School Pipe Band providing wonderful music for us to march around the pitch to, big thanks to all involved! The pupils marched in clans and then had a fabulous warm up which was provided by David MacArthur and senior pupils from Oban High School.
Thanks also go to the other primary schools who participated in the inter-school relay and to Gillian Walker (Active Schools Co-ordinator) and her helpers for their support on the day. We all had a wonderful time which culminated with a prize giving for the successful competitors and school clan. Many thanks to everyone who helped and also to those who turned up to support the school on what was a very hot day! Thanks also go to everyone who contributed to our silver collection which raised a massive £423, thank you very much! We all had brilliant day and well done to all of the competitors!
