On a cold and wet Saturday morning , 16 keen and enthusiastic Primary 6 and 7 children from Cardross Primary took part in the annual Garscue Harriers Cross Country Race in Maryhill Park.
Despite the rain and mud there was a great turnout from parents and siblings to cheer the children on.
The Cardross Teams did incredibly well, with a first place for a Primary 6 boy!
He said ” I felt great to have come 1st and my family were very very proud of me!”
Both the P6 and P7 boys Teams came 2nd overall and were delighted with their success. It truly was a special day for Team Cardross!
Well done Cardross runners!
