Dunoon School Hostel was full of Jungle fun last night (Tuesday 29th September). The hall was decorated in full jungle theme, with giraffes, camouflage and lots of animal print!
Young Cameron started off by introducing the two very smartly dressed hosts Paddy Mulholland and Brandon Wilson.
The green and the yellow team faced each other in eating challenges with various jungle exotic food.
This was served to the contestants courtesy of Campbell and Chief Cook Aaron Moses.
Midway through the show entertainment was provided by Jungle Mix, 2 singers and 3 guitarists,Jackie Turnbull, Leagha, Jade, Jamie and Archie. Their version of Roar was given a thunderous applause in awe of their fantastic talent. The final was between Josh and Scott and the result was imminent as they battled for the crown of King of the Jungle. Scott Symons was the outright winner and was crowned the King ! Well done to all the competitors, Jade Wren Videographer, lunch ladies for ‘delicious jungle drinks’ and cake, Robert McNeilage Sound, and to the two producers Mary Peek and Rory McCrae. The laughter on the faces of the young people on the evening confirmed that the evening was a roaring success!!
Well done Mrs Peek … There really is no end to your talents!! 🙂

Thank you Mary it was my pleasure (apart from the bug tasting moment), I was privileged to have a talented group of young people to work with – Jungle Mix absolutely did Rock!!! The work put into the event by everyone involved was truly commendable. The young people of Dunoon School Hostel should rightly be proud of their input and enthusiasm on making this event the fabulous night it was. Of course these things don’t just happen without a driving force with vision and the determination to make it happen…well done Mary.
