Spring Tea at Garelochhead PS

Garelochhead PS Spring Tea1Yesterday, families and friends of Garelochhead PS were treated to tea, coffee and biscuits to celebrate the start of British summer time. Lots of people turned up and were entertained during the event with songs from all the classes and an Easter ‘Who wants to be a Millionaire’ created by P7. Although the winner didn’t get a million pounds, they did receive some homemade Millionaire’s shortbread.

P7 did a great job selling cakes, biscuits and other types of home baking, along with some Easter crafts created by P1. Many thanks to all the children, staff and parents for their help during the event and also for all the donations of home baking we received. Over all, we raised about £210 for school funds.

  1. Hi Garelochhead, a great BIG Well Done to you all. It is always a good feeling when you look around and see the local community coming in to your school to support all your hard work – and enjoying themselves at the same time.
Enjoy your Easter break. Our P7 pupils are looking forward to meeting up with your P7s and Miss Hughes at the Transition Sports.
    Mrs Keech and P7/6, Rosneath
