At a request from our local Charity shop Cancer Research UK, we agreed to take part in ‘Stand Up To Cancer’ National Fundraiser. The children paid a donation in exchange for wearing clothes other than school uniform.

Nursery children where involved in the MacMillan Cancer Support fundraiser by having a coffee morning raising a fantastic £74.00. and our staff had their very own ‘ Bake Off ‘ with all entry fees and donations also going to MacMillan Cancer Support this raised a amazing £88.00.
A great BIG well done to you all at John Logie Baird. It is good to hear that so many schools raised so much money at their Coffee Mornings for Macmillan. We, at Rosneath, raised £557.91. £20,000,000 was raised last year worldwide. I hope we have all helped to beat that this year for such a worthy cause.
