It took loads of careful planning and strategic coordination but the learners and staff at Oban High School raised £2221.89 in just two periods’ time to contribute to Children in Need.
The Haunted House proved once again the most popular event of the afternoon. It was so scary that two pairs of pupils found the “tunnel of darkness” too much to complete! There were no refunds on tickets though as every penny went for this worthy cause. Witches and onesies were the fashion of the day.
Cakes were baked, teachers were sponged in the freezing courtyard, legs were waxed and heads were shaved by the brave and honourable of Oban High who were dedicated to raising the most money they could for Children in Need.
