P7cw Blog It! 7.10.20

Hi from primary 7cw.  We would like to share what we have been learning this term!

” I have liked learning decimals because it is fun and sometimes quite easy”

” I have very enjoyed art as we are drawing the old Academy and other historic buildings”

” I love competing in educational games/competitions such as Sumdog, Active learn and more”

” One of our highlights was making props and performing a Japanese dance for our topic”

” I really enjoy reading our novel called Wonder”

” doing symmetry for our Maths is something I have been included in and i really like it, we have been experimenting with mirrors to find if certain shapes are symmetrical or not”

we are looking forwards to learning more next term!

P1m – 5th October 2020

We love learning in P1m!  We had a chat about why we like coming to school and what we like to do best!  Here are some of our comments:

I like playing with my friends

I like learning numbers and how to count

I love going to the forest for our outdoor learning

I like coming to school and learning my sounds

I like using the building blocks

I like playing with my friends and learning numbers

I love outdoor learning and playing with my friends

I like learning sounds and drawing stories

I like playing with Lego and my friends

I like playing outside and learning my numbers to 20

I like learning French colours

We love being in P1!

P1J have been thinking about all of the different things they love to do in school. These are some of them…..

I like making pictures with the Autumn leaves.

I like painting pictures with my fingers and cotton buds.

I like making a Gruffalo with purple prickles on his back.

I like reading in the story corner.

I like playing outside with my friends.

I like collecting things in the forest.

I like learning new numbers.

I like writing numbers and letters on my white board.

I like playing with the numicon and making shapes with the cubes.

I like doing arts and crafts and making things with glitter and sparkles.

I like when we tasted food and ate the figs with seeds in them.

I like playing relay games in PE.

We are looking forward to learning more and having lots of fun in P1J.
