Last week in Primary three, we planted daffodil bulbs to raise money for Marie Curie nurses. We decorated pot covers too so they look bright and colourful and are taking them home to look after them. Here’s hoping we manage to grow beautiful flowers and raise a few pennies for a very worthwhile cause!
Last week, family and friends of Primary 3 children were invited into school. This gave the children the opportunity to share what they had been learning in the Katie Morag topic. There was Scottish country dancing, Gaelic and Scottish singing, storytelling, puppet shows and artwork. The children showcased all that they had done and parents had to join in too! It was a very successful morning and we have received lots of positive feedback.
Primary 3 had a wonderful morning at Howden Park Centre watching Cinderella in panto. The children thoroughly enjoyed their Christmas treat and the chance to exercise their lungs! There were lots of laughs and a few surprises (who knew that the ugly sisters were trolls?)
