Rag Bag
Thanks to everyone who contributed to the rag bag collection today. We had 291kg of unwanted textiles recycled. Well done everyone.
P5a Rugby
Primary 5a have been getting in the spirit of the World Cup. We have been learning some rugby skills during our outdoor PE sessions and having great fun.
P5 Macmillan Posters
P5 have been busy getting ready for this Friday’s coffee morning. We will be baking cakes this week. These are our posters for the various events and activities we will have on offer.
Macmillan Guess The Teacher Competition
Watch the video to see our teachers as babies! You will be able to enter the competition in school this Friday for 50p. All money raised will be going to Macmillan Cancer Support.
P5 have visitor from MacMillan Cancer Support
Jayne Forbes came to visit Primary Five today. She works for MacMillan Cancer Support. She told us all about the fantastic support that the charity gives to families affected by Cancer. Last year they were in touch with and gave support to over 5 million people.
In Primary five we are gearing up to next weeks big event at the MacMillan Coffee Morning. We have sold out of tickets for the event with 220 tickets sold. On the day we will be selling MacMillan merchandise, cakes and hyacinth bulbs. You will also have the opportunity to take part in various competitions, including ‘Guess the Teacher’. You will get to find out what our teachers looked like as babies! Lets hope everything runs smoothly and we raise lots of money for a fantastic charity.

P4 Sky Sports Day
The whole of P4 had a great time at the Sky Sports Day event. There were loads of other children there and we took part in a variety of sports, Futsal, Basketball, Judo and Tennis. We also had the chance to learn about some fruit and veg and healthy eating. Congratulations to our team ‘The Puppy Wuppies’ for being awarded the cup for best team spirit.
Green Fingers at Williamston
We have been getting busy in the Gardening Club. We have been planting seeds in pots this week as well as planting some sapling plum and cherry trees.
P4 Smoothies
The children have really enjoyed our work on healthy eating this week. Yesterday, we made our very own smoothies. We had created recipes for them earlier in the week, given them names and decided what ingredients we were going to use. Anyone for a ‘Fruity Fantastical Fruity’?
