What a busy week we have had. We loved going to the panto to see Mother Goose.

Yesterday we had our Christmas dinner which we really enjoyed we really enjoyed the pie and ice cream.

Today was our Nativity we hope you all enjoyed it  we think we were fantastic! You will find a picture of each of us on our seesaw.

We have also loved having the snow to play in this week and like to make snow angels in it, even if it is a bit cold.

What a fantastic last week of Christmas craft club. This week we made calendars and spiral decorations. We enjoyed building, drawing and playing with play dough too.

This week in outdoor learning we got to use saws. First we listened to how to be safe and how to use them carefully. Then with support we each got a few turns of using different sizes of saws. We were all safe and had great fun!

This week in primary 2 we have stared to decorate the classroom and turned ourselves into elves……their has also been a visitor from an elf.

In maths we have been learning about 2D shapes and patterns. We have really enjoyed making pictures and wallpaper with the shapes and made patterns with paper chains.

Primary 2 had great fun at our family campfire today. We worked very hard last week to write and illustrate our own books which we enjoyed sharing with our families today. We have also been reading the books out of our Read Write Count bags and are looking forward to completing the activities in the bags at home.  At our campfire we made s’mores and even made some for our families too. We showed how we can be safe around a fire and how to use the trim trail.

We hope our families enjoyed coming to our campfire and enjoyed our stories.
