What a busy few weeks!

We’ve had a busy few weeks in P6, here is a round up of it all.

Last Thursday we celebrated world book day, we had plenty of fun activities that linked to reading books – quizzes, private reading time, designing a new book cover and a scavenger hunt.

Last week we had a fantastic turn out for our big breakfast and sharing our learning! Thanks to all our grown ups for attending and participating! We hope you enjoyed it.

This week we have been busy learning all about persuasive writing, multiplying fractions & introduced to our new class novels.

We also got to update our digital profiles, which we’ll be able to share soon.

On Friday (today) we had a p4 to p7 bingo and had a few winners. Our focus for our assembly today was Rights Respecting Schools.

Primary 6R

Primary 6 have been very busy this week

We presented our Solo Talks this week on various topics that we find interesting, we were also given the opportunity to peer assess. We noted the things that worked well and provided feedback on things they could do even better for future talks.

On Tuesday we got to watch a movie with the whole school. We really enjoyed it.

We started our whole school rehearsals for our carol service, we are feeling quite confident that we know our reading and songs. “We Three Kings” is the favourite.

We led Advent Mass today (Friday) and welcomed parishioners to our school. Many students had a part to play in the mass – welcoming our parishioners, bidding prayers and offertory procession.

After our mass we participated in a Christmas themed Daily Mile with the whole school, 14 laps of our playground to be exact!

Primary 2

Primary 2 enjoyed a number of different activities as part of Book Week Scotland this week. The activities included participating in a whole school reading river, drop everything and read time, painting a book character on a potato, enjoying our book bags with our grown ups and hot chocolate.
