P6B School week! WC 04.12.2023

Hello, Amelia and Adriana here. This week’s lead learners.

Our highlights of the week:

We looked at discrimination in design, with a focus on inclusion and of course accessibility. We had a discussion on ways we could make it accessible and inclusive for everyone.

For maths, we focused on money and created Christmas dinners. We used the laptops to compare prices and values from Sainsbury’s, Asda, and Morrisons. Asda was usually the cheapest. We developed our research and comparing skills another day when we “organised” a trip to the cinema for 2 adults and 2 children, looking at Vue, Odeon, and Cineworld. Vue was the cheapest by far! For one of the movies in Cineworld, it was £68.75 for four people!

We wore Christmas jumpers on Wednesday and had a super tasty Christmas lunch with music, which we reviewed for our response writing. We were lucky to wear pajamas on Friday too.

On Thursday we had music and fun with Mrs Callaghan.

Have a good weekend!
