What Christmas means to me in P5……
We set success criteria as we considered how OPENERS can hook a reader in to our stories. We took part in a carousel activity to identify the sights, sounds and smells that are special to us in our homes this season.
P4/5 are rehearsing their Christmas Song…
For our concert 2016 we would ask if the pupils could please learn the words of the first 2 verses really well(we have a soloist for the 3rd verse)
Costumes can be sparkly/jumpers/hats /Colourful tops red or green would be brilliant! Get your costume in a poly bag with your name on and bring it in to school as soon as you can.Rehearsals are in full swing!

Reminder: Christmas Fun Day on Friday
P6/7 will be responsible for leading and running this.
It is a non-uniform day. We ask for £2 per pupil (maximum £4 a family) to cover the cost of the day.
Hot dogs and drinks can be ordered at 50p each.
Letter sent home on Thursday with permission slips. We can supply another if needed.
Children’s Fun Day
P6/7 are really looking forward to organising and taking charge of our fun day on Friday. Please remember to bring your permission slips in to let us know if you are allowed to get your face painted or have a transfer done. We also need to know if you are allowed a hot dog and our delicious Christmas punch! There will be lots of games like pin the nose on Rudolph, beat the goalie and pick the stick! It will be great fun for everybody. Remember it’s a dress down day too!!
Number talks on shape in P4/5 today….
David said the cube is the odd one out as it’s the only 3Dshape
Aiste said it must be the cube as the rest are all 2Dshapes
Robbie said I think it’s the circle as it is the only shape with no corners
