Since one of our targets is to create more reading opportunities outdoors we thought we’d start with a Christmas Sing-Song! P5 wrote the first 2 lines of a Christmas song and challenged the other children at playtime to read them out and sing the rest – Great fun!
A very big thanks to all the pupils and families that have sent in cards and gifts this week. It is very much appreciated ! They are hiding under the tree ready for the 25th!
P3 can’t wait to visit Howden Park Centre tomorrow to see this years performance of Beauty and the Beast….make sure if you carry an inhaler you have it safely with you on the trip!
P3 have been discussing their learning during their term talks and are keen to find out their total scores for the term!

Applications must be submitted by 31st December, even if your child is eligible for a deferral (Jan/Feb Birthday). Deferrals will be looked at after Christmas.

As it is Scottish Book Week P3 thought they would take a local trip to the library and explore its services. Forms for membership were sent home with pupils today and if brought back tomorrow we will ensure they are handed in.Alternatively why not visit the library this week with your child and enjoy dipping in to the World of Reading!
