Here is a great website for practicing letter and number formation. You can either watch how the letter or number is formed and write it into your jotter or if you have an iPad you could free draw straight onto the screen.

Good morning boys and girls,

I hope you all enjoyed the long weekend! Here we are in week 5 of home schooling – can you believe it?! You are all doing great!

I was helping in a hub school yesterday and got to see some children from P2/3 and P3, what a treat! It was lovely to ‘check in’ and see some familiar faces. Thank you too for some fantastic photos last week showing some of your hard work and fun activities.

This week I will upload each day’s work as normal but I thought I would add an extra challenge called Flat Teacher Adventures.  It’s just a bit of fun so you can choose to do it or not. Here are today’s tasks along with the ‘Flat Teacher Challenge’:

Firstly, apologies to anyone who has commented on our blog posts a few weeks ago. I did not realise that comments could be posted on the blog and I have only just worked this out (excuse my lack of blogging skills!) I have replied to those comments and they will be uploaded once authorised by blog admin.

Secondly, well done boys and girls for completing week 4 of home schooling! As I mentioned during the week, on today’s tasks I have shown you how to access new reading books using Oxford Owl. If you follow the steps it should work but if you have any issues accessing it please do not hesitate to contact the school office and they will forward the email on to me to respond.
