P1 and P2/1- Wednesday 17th June

Hello everyone,

Wow, we have been so amazed at all the work everyone has done so far! Keep up the fabby work! Your map work skills were very impressive and so many of you have planned the day so well – we can’t wait for Friday to come!

Today we are going to start with a bit of art – so let’s get our creative hats on! We are all going to be making an animal mask, Miss Brown and Miss Duncan included! Use any materials you have at home, the creative the better!

Have a fab day, we can’t wait to see how you get on with today’s tasks,

Miss Duncan and Miss Brown 🙂

(Only 2 sleeps to go!!!!)

P3/2 – Wednesday 17th June

Good morning P3/2,

We are halfway through Bee week.  Today we are going to learn even more about why bees are so important and it’s for more than just making yummy honey.

Below is today’s grid and this will help you add another section to your project.  As you work think about where you could use pictures and colours to make your project look even more exciting and interesting.

Have a wonderful day everybody.

Primary 2 – 17th June

Good morning Primary 2,

It looks like you are having great fun this week learning all about bees.  I’d love to hear some of what you have been finding out, so please add a comment if you would like!

We are carrying on with your bee projects today – here is the link to today’s activities:

Bee week Wednesday.

If you are looking for a PE activity, how about this?

Draw big letters on pieces of paper and spread them round the room.  Get someone else to play some music while you dance, and then stop the music and call out one of the letters.  You then have to quickly find the letter and sit on it!

I hope you have a fun day.

P3 Learning Activities

Good morning everyone,

I hope you are well and looking forward to our activities today? We are going to look at the myth of the Loch Ness Monster in a bit more depth today and I have put up a couple of books to look at or listen to.

We will continue to learn about area and how to use our multiplication skills to work out the area of a given shape.

P3/2 – 16th June

Good morning P3/2,

Where has the sun gone?  That is my big question today.  Hopefully it is just a little cloudy this morning and the sun will appear later.

This is day 2 of our Bee Week and we are going to add to our projects.  There is more information in today’s grid and another idea for an extra bee activity too.  Remember you still have reading books on Active Learn along with maths and literacy games and you can access Sumdog as well if you want something extra.

Bee week Tuesday

I wonder if anyone spots any bees while they are outside today.  If you do have a close look at what they are doing.

Have a fabulous day.
