Our end of term summer party takes place on Thursday 28th June 2018.
We are all so excited about this already and have started talking about it with our friends!
Today we made a start on planning our party and thought about the food/drinks, music and party games we would like.
Our plans so far, are on the wall in the cloak room. We will continue to add to them over the next couple of weeks. Parents/carers are welcome to add children’s suggestions to them too.
Our annual summer garden fete will take place next Thursday (21.6.18).
Morning fete will take place at 10-11am.
Afternoon fete will take place 2-3pm.
Please let Mrs Todd know if you can help us with the stalls on the day.

blog post from our garden fete last year to see what we got up to….
Last week children participated in a group sessions with Mhari from ChildSmile and her toothy puppet Ziggy!
Mhari discussed the importance of brushing teeth and demonstrated how to do it correctly. Children were offered the opportunity to brush Ziggy’s teeth with a giant toothbrush too!
We played a game to help us understand about foods that are healthy and unhealthy for our teeth too.
Thank you Mahairi and Ziggy for helping us learn more about looking after out teeth!

It is a very busy time for our pre school children just now. There is lots going on with transition visits to school.
BEYC has many associated schools in Bathgate and surrounding areas. Please remeber to check the transition notice board in the foyer and information you have received, from the school your child is going to.
Please speak to Miss Kelly if you are unsure about dates/times.
Please see the information below about arrangements for the procession / gala day parade on Saturday.
Remember we are also having a
Gala Day Costume Late Night on Wednesday
It was a beautiful sunny day to set the afternoon butterflies free. We sat up on the hill in the sunshine and watched them fly off up into the sky and to the trees. We have been responsibly caring for them and nurturing them since they arrived as tiny baby caterpillars! You can also view the video on the TV screen in nursery.
Sway Learning Story update coming soon….
We are having a late night until 7pm on Wednesday 30th May to allow parents/carers to come in to finish off/collect and pay for costumes.
The ‘under the sea’ capes may not be ready for collection until Friday 1st June.
