Fun in the Sun.

We have all had a fantastic couple of days playing outside in the lovely warm sunshine.  The sunflower seeds we planted at Grandparents Day are beginning to grow and we have spotted even more frogspawn in our pond!  Please remember to put on sun cream before you come to nursery to protect your skin and it is a good idea to bring a sun hat too.

Please read our sun cream guidance carefully.

Bathgate Procession 2016

Bathgate Procession—Saturday 4th June 2016
The Bring and Buy Cake sale at the end of last term raised £289.11 which will help towards the cost of Procession costumes. Thanks to all who helped and supported the event. This years Procession theme will be Birthday Celebrations as we celebrate 10 years since opening in 2006 this session. The prototype for the costumes will be on display soon. Once again thanks to Mrs McKay for all her hard work with this—we couldn’t do it without her! We hope that lots of our families will take part in this community event along with some of the staff. If you and your family are taking part this year please add your names to the list in the foyer by 14th May. Mrs McKay has set up an area where parents can come in and make costumes .
PLEASE REMEMBER IT’S UP TO YOU!
Preparations will be on going until Friday 27th May at the latest as we need the space for another group who will be using our centre after that. Please speak to Mrs McKay and make sure your
costumes are made as soon as possible!

New Life in the Pond.

We spotted frogspawn in our pond yesterday and today we saw three frogs swimming around!  It is hard to see the frogspawn unless the sun is shining on the pond so you need to look very carefully.

Over the next few weeks we will learn about the life cycle of a frog as we see it develop right before our eyes.
