We would like to send a big thank you to Miss Armstrong who spent time with the nursery children attending Boghall Primary School. We loved looking at Rosie (The Puppet’s) School uniform and we look forward to meeting her puppet friends. Please continue to check the transition board for all updates on transition.

to two of our kind grandparents who have given up their time this morning to give our raised beds some much needed TLC.
If anyone else can spare some time to help us keep on top of our garden and orchard please speak to Mrs Todd – even just a half hour after dropping of or before collecting children. Every little helps. Parents, carers, grandparents, family friends all welcome.

We have been exploring sea creatures as part of our Under the Sea learning interest.
On Tuesday we painted a giant ocean on a big piece of paper out in the garden.
Yesterday we drew sea creatures and gave them a voice!
Then we brought them to life using digital technology.
We used the iPads and a free app, ChatterPix Kids.

With thanks to the Beecraigs forest rangers the blue group, along with Miss Heenan and Mrs Ola have been trialing a forest school block We are hoping all groups will have a turn in the future. Please have a look at the video below filmed by the children using the GoPro camera to view a snapshot of all the fun and learning from one of the adventures to the forest…
A huge thank you to all of our Spring Clean Volunteers and their grown ups for taking part in the National Spring Clean, Clean Campaign from Keep Scotland Tidy. This event was sponsored by Greggs Who provided some yummy treats for our volunteers. The
West Lothian Council Cleaner Community team provided litter picks and bags that helped us to complete the litter pick helping our nursery stay Eco Friendly!
