Children in Need.

This year for Children in Need you can come to nursery wearing something spotty.

AM group – Friday 18th November.

There will be a donation bucket in the foyer.  Look out for ‘Bathgate Early Years Centre’ name to appear on the programme on Friday night.

International Visitors

We were visited by a group of senor educationalists form Iceland last week who were particularly interested in how we continually improve the quality of our service at BEYC.  They were also very impressed by our outdoor play, resources and the independence and confidence of our children.

Harvest Learning Story so far……..

Last month in nursery in both morning and afternoon sessions, children observed apples falling from the apple trees in the orchard……  produce in the orchard and greenhouse was ready to harvest…… In small groups children visit the orchard to  look, touch, smell and water the fruit trees/plants and vegetables…….. There was lots of interest in ‘The Giant Turnip’ story and ‘Oliver’s Vegetables’ story.

Have a look at our Harvest Learning Story to find out where the children’s interest and ideas have taken us………
