Road Safety Week
You may have heard the children talking about road safety? There is lots of great learning going this week and tomorrow we will have a visit from a lollipop person.
Please see Beep Beep website to find out more about what we are doing in nursery.
Sing-A-Long 2017 Song Booklet
This year’s Nativity story is ‘The Sleepy Shepherd’ by Niki Davies. In December, children will dress up as the characters and perform a Nativity sing-a-long for parents/carers and grandparents. This booklet contains the words to the songs and if you search for ‘The Sleepy Shepherd’ on YouTube it will help you to learn the tunes to practice at home.

Fire Pit Learning at Stay, Play and Learn
Today we have been showing our parents/carers how we safely use the fire pit to make fire and cook a little snack. We have to listen to the nursery ladies and carefully follow the instructions to ensure we are safe because fire is dangerous! Today we melted chocolate and marshmallows inside bananas. It was rather yummy but it was decided by the children we needed more chocolate inside the bananas next time!
