Jade and Hector (our Miniature Jack Russel friend from Pets As Therapy) popped in to visit us again at nursery, this time for a spot on paw printing! Children are getting to know Hector and are learning how to look after him and be kind to him, supported by Jade each time they visit. Children had fun helping Hector to paint his paws and make Autumn coloured paw prints, not forgetting to help him wipe his paws clean when he was finished!
The Pets As Therapy charity aims to bring temporary but regular animal companionship and comfort to patients/residents in hospitals, nursing homes, day care centres etc, by visits from temperament tested registered pets.
