Last week our morning group joined a Glow meet with musicians from ‘ Scotland Sings’ to take part in an altogether online sing-a-long at the end of a morning. This was an interactive meet, where we communicated through the comments and questions box and shared our answers to the musical instrument quizzes, with the musicians and children from other schools all over Scotland. We learned some new Scottish songs and tried to sing-a-long, with our nursery ladies, who helped us to follow the lyrics on screen. It was great fun dancing along to the fast music played on the guitar and mandolin too. Previously we have had visits from musicians during the Bathgate Music Festival so this was a new experience and we look forward to the next Scotland Sings meet to learn more new songs and discover different instruments.
