Primary 3

Good morning Primary 3.

I hope you are all keeping well and staying safe!

I have found some exciting activities about the Ancient Egyptians on the National Museum of Scotland website and others.

So I have decided to set you some topic questions! I know you were all enjoying our Ancient Egyptian topic before we finished up. The questions will be about mummification and can be found on the worksheet at the bottom of this post. There is a video to watch too.

Good morning Primary 1!

I hope you are having a lovely week at home working through your tasks for this week and most importantly keeping yourself safe with your family.

Please remember Education City and SUMDOG also have fun tasks for you to complete.

Over the last few weeks, lots of people have been going outside at 8pm on a Thursday evening and clapping for all our wonderful doctors, nurses, care workers and key workers who are all working so hard to keep us all safe during this time. Today you could create a Rainbow Fingerprint picture to give to someone you know working to keep us safe or put in a window of your house for everyone to see.

Today is also Day 11 of the LEGO challenge, you’ll need your best building skills for this one today or else Captain Hook will make you walk the plank!

Welcome Back

Good afternoon everyone,

Welcome to the most unusual start to the Summer Term.  I hope that you are all well and staying safe.  The staff of the nursery and school have been busy posting a wide range of learning activities for our children.  These can be accessed through the Learning Journals for nursery children and the School Blog for P1-3.  P4-7 pupils can access activities through their GLOW TEAM.    If you are having difficulty accessing these please email the St Joseph’s email and we will support you to gain access.

Home Learning in P2

Good morning.

Welcome to our summer term in Primary 2. Hope you all had a nice Easter and were able to make the best of this unusual situation.

P2 Homework Term 4

In the file above, you should find a list of all the sounds we will be covering this term, along with the common words we will need to practise.

You can practise these as you would have when done as homework – but feel free to be creative!

Please remember to visit Education City and play the games in the classwork and homework sections of MyCity (there’s some tricky dividing by 2 and 10 work in there this week!) as well as Sumdog.

Hope you have a good week.

Primary 1/2 Home Learning – Week Beginning 20th April 2020

Good Morning boys and girls I hope you all had a lovely and safe Easter Break.  We are now in our final term of school.  I have set you lots of activities below for the week  ahead and there are also games and challenges on Sumdog and Education City for you to complete.  It is really important to remember that the learning is not the same as it would be if we were at school, so all I can ask is that you try your best to work in a way that suits you and your family.  The most important thing is that you stay safe and well.

Take care everyone
