Good Morning Boys & Girls,
I hope you all had a lovely weekend in the sunshine. The weather has been beautiful so please make sure you get out and enjoy it. As always please remember that you do not have to do all of the tasks here. There will be work on Sumdog and Education City for you too. Have a good week and stay safe. Missing you all!
Mrs Warner
Good morning Primary 2! Hope you’ve enjoyed the hot weather this weekend.
Well done to everyone who took part in the sumdog challenge last week. It was great to see so many of you taking on the challenge. Look out for more challenges soon.
This week in Education city I have put together a few shape games to have a go at. Listen and read the ‘Learn It’ screen before you move on to the games.
There is also ‘ew’ and ‘ow’ spelling games to try in the homework section. Two games for ‘ew’ and two games for ‘ow’.
If you’re looking for more, why not try BBC Bitesize where they have put together daily lessons for you to work through.
Today has some measuring mass and weight in maths, using capital letters and full stops again in english work and there’s some history too where you can learn about Queen Victoria.
Hope you enjoy a sunny start to June.
Mr Benyon
Good Morning Primary 1!
I hope you all had a fantastic weekend, enjoyed the lovely sunshine and are ready for another week of home learning!
On the BLOG, there are ‘check in’ and ‘check out’ forms for P1 to let me know how you are all feeling and getting on with your home learning activities! These can be completed daily, every couple of days or weekly!
It would be lovely to hear from as many of you as possible as often as you can! Ideally the ‘check in’ would be completed each morning and the ‘check out’ later on in the day. However if daily isn’t always possible then please complete whenever it is suitable for you and your child.
Here are your BLOG tasks for this week! I hope you all have lots of fun completing them!
Home Learning Week beginning 1st June 2020
There are also numeracy and literacy tasks on Education City and SUMDOG! On SUMDOG this week we have a numeracy competition, you are in 2 teams! The Superstars and the Megastars! Good luck!
Today is day 5 on the ‘doodle challenges’. I hope you are all enjoying them!
Have a great day and remember to stay safe!
Miss McCullagh
As you may be aware, the Scottish government has announced that ‘back to school’ will be brought forward this summer, with children returning to school from the 11th of August.
We are expecting a huge influx in online orders after adding all schools we supply to our website, due to our stores and schools being closed. Now all parents can access their school uniform online to order with home delivery.
St Joseph’s Primary Uniform Site
https://www.border-embroideries.co.uk/schools/st-josephs-rc-primary-school-whitburn.html
This huge increase in online ordering may result in delays, so all we ask is that all parents get their orders in quickly to avoid disappointment. We’d like all parents to order online as soon as possible and not wait for our stores to reopen.
We want to make sure that all children can head back to school in their new uniform this summer – help us slow the rush and meet demand easily and efficiently.
If you have any queries at all, please do not hesitate to get in touch via email info@border-embroideries.co.uk.
Thank you boys and girls from P5.4 for all of your hard work this week. It’s so great to see and hear all of the different learning that is taking place. I am missing you all very much and look forward to catching up in our class check in calls next week. Remember, they take place every day! (Monday – Thursday @10am and 1:30pm & Friday 10am)
Have a lovely weekend, enjoy the sunshine and stay safe!
Happy Friday P1!
I hope you have all had a great week and have enjoyed your activities!
Today I would like you to finish completing the activities set for this week and today is day 4 of the ‘doodle challenges’.
I hope you all have a fantastic, relaxing weekend in the lovely sunshine!
