Primary 2 Weekly Learning (25th Jan)

Good morning everyone,

I hope you all managed to have a nice weekend. You will find all of this week’s activities in SeeSaw. You can get to today’s learning by clicking on the weekly learning activity I have pinned to the top. Then choose the day and click on the first activity.

Please remember there is no pressure to complete all tasks. Just do what you can.

Both Sumdog and Education City are available to use in addition to all of the activities in SeeSaw. You should have your password for these at home. There are also daily PE sessions with Joe Wicks at 9 am on You Tube.

Thank you to all the parents and carers for your support.

Take care.

Mr Benyon

Weather Warning

Dear Parent/Carer,

If your child is currently attending school, please be aware that heavy snow has been forecast for the next few days.  Please listen to Radio Forth or check the West Lothian Council Facebook page for advice on school closures.  Staff will be making every attempt to get to school, however this may be delayed due to road conditions.  Please make sure you leave your child in the care of a staff member, do not leave them unattended at the foyer or in the playground in case staff have been delayed.

Thank you

Mrs F Burns

West Lothian Council Surveys

Find below a survey from West Lothian Council that we would encourage you to complete by Friday 29th January.

West Lothian Council would like to hear from parents/carers about their experiences of supporting their children to learn from home during this period of remote learning.

We appreciate all you are doing and your feedback will help us to continue to support our schools and families at this time. For more information or support, please get in touch with your child’s school. They are there to help. Our telephone support service is also available for West Lothian families. We are here to listen and support you – 01506 283130

There are 7 questions and it should take 2-3 minutes to complete. If you have more than one child, please complete a survey form for each of your children in turn.

Thank you.

Online Safety

Good afternoon, We hope you are all well.

Just to remind all parents that Seesaw and TEAMS are not appropriate channels for communication between the school and parents.  In order for them to remain safe zones for our pupils, they are child only.   All communication with the school should be done through e-mail at, wlstjosephwhit-ps@westlothian.org.uk or phone on, 01501 740452, where we will be happy to assist.

Thank you for your understanding and continued support, at this time.
