P6 participated in the Big Board Game Day to raise money for NSPCC.
We had lots of fun and some of us even learned how to play new games!
Yesterday P6 competed in a Cross Country event with P6 classes from different schools in the surrounding area!
The children were fantastic and showed a terrific ‘never give up’ attitude and great sportsmanship for each other! Although most importantly, they all had fun! Even wanting to run again when their run was over!
A special well done to Meg and Jermaine who both came 4th in their races!
We developed skills in reasoning, resilience and problem solving by playing board games to raise money for the NSPCC today.
Primary 1 had wonderful fun playing their board games with their friends to raise money for the NSPCC.
We have been learning about Forces as part of our Science work. Friction is a force that slows objects down when they are moving. We have looked at how friction slows things down and investigated ways we can reduce this to help objects travel further or faster.
As you know, Primary 4/5 and Primary 5 have been studying The Unsinkable Ship. They have requested a trip to The Titanic Experience in Belfast. We would like to know your thoughts. Please click on the link below for more information. This will give us an idea of whether you would like this trip to go ahead.
