Happy New year from Primary 2.
Today in PE we practised lots of different skills such as running, aiming, balancing, skipping and ball skills.
Lauchlan explained to us that he had never tried skipping before but with a lot of hard work and determination, by the end of the lesson he was beginning to skip independently! Well done, Lauchlan!
Primary 1 started off the new year with a bang! Â They worked so hard on their Elkonin boards building words using phonemes and we practised reading some common words. Â This is going to be a super term with lots of learning and fun!
Primary 5 have been getting into the Christmas spirit again and have created lovely snow globes with snowmen in them.
We would just like to wish everyone a Merry Christmas.

Primary 4/5 worked together with their shoulder partner and used their problem solving skills to investigate who stole Mrs Claus’ Christmas pudding.
Primary 4/5 were inspired by the 2016 M&S advert featuring Mrs Claus https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=V5QPXhStb5I.  We discussed the importance of thinking of others at Christmas.  Everyone thought about someone they would like to send a present to and wrote a letter to Mrs Clause asking for a very special gift.

Primary 5 have been designing Christmas baubles. They each got a quarter of a bauble and were asked to design it. They enjoyed the activity and put a lot of effort into their designs.
They were then put together to form a whole bauble and look fab!
What a lovely surprise for all the boys and girls!!
We all had so much fun at our Christmas party. We danced, played games, ate yummy party food and we even had a special visit from……….SANTA!!!!
