This week in Primary 2…

Here are a few suggestions about how you can use your time at home together.

Check out on the School App from the guys at Kids Gone Wild for some Outdoor Learning activities linked to a story. There are reading, writing, maths and art activities all linked to the story Stuck by Oliver Jeffers.

Remember to log in to Education City where you can complete the classwork AND homework activities I’ve set for the week.

And give Sumdog a go! Especially the maths games, but try the spelling and reading games too.

Happy learning.

Primary 2 Home Learning

Hi Primary 2,

I hope you are all staying safe and keeping busy with lots of fun activities at home.  As well as your Home Learning pack, Education City and Sumdog here are some other fun ideas for you to try at home.  I am not expecting you to complete all of these but please try to give some of them a go.

Titanic Topic – Parental Engagement Session

P5.4 and P6.5 are excited to start a new cross-curricular topic all about the Titanic and we need your help! We are holding a parental engagement session on Friday 13th March from 09:15am – 10:00am. This will be a collaborative working session with teachers, parents and pupils to brainstorm, share ideas and shape the planning for our new topic.

If you cannot attend, we would still value your input and will send home a brief form to capture any of your ideas and suggestions.

Thanks for your support,
Mrs Strain & Mrs Thomson
