return to school letter 16.8

The next Rag Bag collection will be on Tuesday 22^nd June.

Please support this activity. Only send bags on Tuesday as we are not able to bring them into the building. There will be additional “baskets” beside the Rag Bag container in the car park.

This is a great opportunity to clear out our wardrobes for the summer.

• Writing about the Life Cycle of a Caterpillar  
• Adding on to make 10p and beyond  
• Cheered on Scotland  in the Euros
• Enjoyed Sports Day

 

Another busy week with lots of fun activities and learning! Well done P1!

We have been learning:

• to read and write words using the sound ‘tch’ (match)
• to add and subtract using numbers to 20
• how to write instructions for a ‘lighthouse’ sandwich

P5 once again made the most of the good weather and headed outside to tidy up the garden and inspect the local wildlife.

Information from Passenger Transport Service 

The application process for free school transport for 2021/21 is now open.   Pupils going into P1, S1, S5 & S6 should apply while all other pupils passes should be retained for use in August.  If you have lost your pass please use the online application form to request a new one.  Full details, along with the application form can be found here.

If you have already applied you do not need to do so again. The closing date for applications is July 2^nd  2021 and any applications received after this date will be worked on in order but are not guaranteed to be processed in time for the return to school.   Please note that the process for purchasing fare-paying tickets will be clarified at a later date and communication will be sent out as soon as this is agreed upon.

P1 had so much fun today at their Sports Day  Great teamwork and dedication to their individual teams! Well done P1!
