Resilience – Another chance to see!
Thank you to everyone who attended our Community showing of Resilience. If you were unable to attend you would be more than welcome to go to one of our local schools who are also showing the film. Some of the comments that were left last night included:
“Amazing work being done in St Joseph’s”
“I was totally unaware that all this work was going on”
“…open evenings in other schools with the movie to increase awareness”

Resilience – Reminder
Remember tonight – Wednesday 30th January 2019 For one night only! Resilience – The Biology of Stress and the Science of Hope. Don’t miss the opportunity to join the discussion with Suzanne Zeedyk (Author and Research Scientist in the field of child development). It would be great to have at least one person from each family to join representatives of the local and wider community.
Sacrament of Reconciliation
Father Sebastian has asked us to remind all parents of children making their First Confession that the Rite of Illumination will take place on Sunday 20th January @ 10am in St Joseph’s Church. All children who will be making their First Confession this year are expected to attend with their parents.

Marvellous Multiplication
Primary 3/4 have been using repeated addition to help them with their multiplication. 
Mass in St Joseph’s Church
Our monthly Mass will take place at 10.00am in St Joseph’s Church.
The weather forecast looks quite mixed so please ensure that everyone is dressed appropriately.

Book Fair
Dear Parents/Guardians,
As is tradition in St Joseph’s Primary, the Book Fair will be visiting the school between 9th and 16th of October. Children will have an opportunity to visit with their class during the day and see what items there are on offer. Your child will be able to reserve a book and payment can be sent to the school.
