Tanzania Partnership
Pupils and staff of St Joseph’s are continuing to get to know pupils and staff of Mkyashi Primary School, Tanzania.
We are delighted to inform you that, this laptop is on its way to Tanzania with Mrs Strain on Friday the 7th of February. She has kindly offered to help support education in the area and further develop our links with the people of Mkyashi. We are sure she will have a wonderful experience and we wish her a safe journey. Also, we look forward to her return on the 17th of February, where we are sure she will have lots to tell us!
Mr Kildae, who has been working with Mrs Strain since joining St. Joseph’s in January, will continue teaching in Primary 5/4. After Mrs Strain’s return, Mr Kildae will continue as a member of the teaching staff within the school.

Outdoor Learning
Primary 1, Primary 2/1 and Primary 2 will work with “Kids Gone Wild” on Wednesday 22nd of January. The weather forecast looks okay but better to be prepared. Waterproof shoes have been really useful over the past couple of weeks and a spare pair of socks doesn’t take up too much space.
