The Leavers Mass takes place tomorrow Tuesday 24 of June at 10.00am in the school hall. We look forward to their families and invited guests joining us. Mass will be followed by tea before the Leavers Assembly.

You should have received a bag with all of the information but if you have not you can use any bag. Just check the Rag Bag site to answer all of your questions. The main items they collect are

Our uniform is available through the following company, please follow the link. https://www.border-embroideries.co.uk/schools/st-josephs-rc-primary-school-whitburn.html Orders for August delivery must be received before the 21st July.
All deliveries will be to your home. Orders over £45.00 will be free. Orders under £45.00 incur a charge of £2.99. (You can club together with your friends to avoid paying this fee).
P7 Ties, School Badge and Kilts are available from the school. These must be ordered and paid for using the order form on our blog, app and website and sent to your child’s class/nursery teacher.

Parent Council – EGM
Hi all,
The Parent Council will be hosting an EGM on Monday 3rd June at 7pm which will be held in St Joseph’s Chapel Hall.
This is to vote in a new Chairperson and Secretary to allow the Parent Council to move forward and continue to support the school in a positive manner. If anyone is interested in either post email stjosephspcwhitburn@hotmail.com and we will forward on details of responsibilities. There will be some paper copies on the night as well.
The voting will take place at the meeting after nominations have been received. Please ensure you speak to the person before nominating them. You are also welcome to put yourself forward for the posts. We require these posts to be filled to ensure a parent council can carry on.
Everyone is welcome to this meeting. This is your Parent Council, therefore, as well as filling these posts we want to hear any suggestions or questions you have.
We hope to see you all there.

SWIM IT are now taking bookings
Active Schools in partnership with West Lothian Council accredited club SWIM IT are now taking bookings for the final block of P3-P7 After School Swimming lessons at Whitburn Academy for this academic year
The lessons will take place on Wednesdays from 3.50pm -4.35pm (pre-swimming changing time from 3.40pm-3.50pm and after from 4.35pm-5pm) at Whitburn Academy Swimming Pool starting Wednesday 15th May to Wednesday 19th June 2019.
The cost is £15 for a block of 6 lessons (£2.50 per session) and parents can book a space via Fiona Donald at fiona@swim-it.co.uk
