Our Adventure to the Museum

On Monday 16/11/15 P5S & P5M went on a trip to the Edinburgh Museum to go to the Death in Ancient Egypt Workshop. While we were there we looked all over the museum we played on the activities, we saw lots of different animals, we weighed ourselves on the animal scales (we weighed as much as a blue shark together), we saw a statue that looked like Imogen and journeyed into space!

We went on a quest around the museum to find lots of different artifacts. We also saw a real mummy!

At the workshop we mummified poor Amy the rich noble.

Then some of the girls dressed up as the fearful devourer with the head of a crocodile, the body of a lion and the backside of a hippo!

The museum made a big mistake when they put their Ancient Egypt exhibition into storage – they lost the labels telling them which mummy was which! Then we  had to help the museum to work out who was in each tomb from the clues we found in the artifacts.
