Healthy Living
- Record a food diary. Using the Eatwell Guide think about how healthy you are – could you be healthier? What changes could you make to your diet?
- Look at the PowerPoint then create a display that encourages personal safety & hygiene rules. Think about how you want to showcase your ideas (poster, PPT, animation, etc)
- Think about how we can promote healthy eating to others in our families and in our environment. How can we share with others the importance and the benefits of a healthy balanced diet?
- Create a weekly menu that has healthy food choices for breakfast, lunch and dinner for your household. Can you source all the ingredients you need and can you budget for your menu?
- Can you try making some of the foods from your menu and sharing them with your family? You could try some of the recipes in the post of try some of your own. This website give lots of yummy ideas to try https://www.nhs.uk/change4life/recipes

Environment Challenge!
THIS WEEK’S LEARNING CHALLENGES ARE ALL CONNECTED TO THE THEME ‘ENVIRONMENT’
Environment:
The surroundings and conditions in which you live. That means your house, your garden, your street, your town, your area, your country and your world. It can also mean how you feel when you are in any of these places.
Behaviour is normally described as altruistic when it is motivated by a desire to benefit someone other than oneself for that person’s sake.
Over the course of lockdown we have witnessed many examples of altruistic behaviours that have been done to the environment so that others feel good. Everyone has rainbows in their windows, people have put stuffed toys, we have clapped for the NHS. All of these are doing good for the sake of doing good and it makes you feel good.
WE WANT YOU TO FEEL GOOD and for you to try and make others FEEL GOOD. We would like you to think of something that you could do that may help make your environment better.
Check out this SWAY presentation for more inspiration to get you started!

Since we can’t have a Sports Event this year, this week will be all about different physical activities that we can do.
