What a busy week!
Firstly, huge congratulations to all of the girls and boys for a fantastic nativity performance. Everyone looked very smart and sang beautifully – well done. Hope said she enjoyed singing the best and Hafsa thought the angels looked special with their glittery wings.
On Thursday we went to see the panto, Aladdin at The Regal. All of the children enjoyed this and soon got the hang of shouting ‘He’s behind you’ and ‘Oh no it isn’t’. They were a fabulous audience!
Today the children wrote Christmas cards to friends in class and addressed the envelope themselves. Their handwriting is improving in leaps and bounds and they are very proud of themselves.
Learner’s Journey jotters are coming home in school bags today so please have a look. I’m sure you’ll be amazed at your child’s progress. Please take a few minutes to complete the ‘highlights of the term sheet’ with your child and if they have had any successes outside of school these can be filled in the page at the back of the jotter. Thank you in advance.
Hi Primary 1m,
I am so proud of you all for putting on two fantastic performances of the Nativity for your families and friends this week. Everyone had a wonderful time and there were lots of smiling faces in the audience. The ladies from the nurseries who came to see you were so pleased to see how well you are all doing in school. Your Christmas cards sound great. Well done, everyone for all of your achievements this week.
Have a lovely weekend. Only 12 sleeps until Christmas Day:)
