Fun at the Farm

Yesterday, some of the pupils and adults from classes 1, 2 and 3 met at Mill Farm for a special family day out.  We were very lucky to be joined by some of our brothers, sisters and cousins.

Some of us arrived early and spent the morning exploring the farm.  It was very wet but we didn’t mind as we had our waterproof jackets and wellies on.  We saw lots of animals including sheep, pigs and rabbits.  Joe and his sister, Jenna liked seeing the rabbits.

Once everyone had arrived we all went to the soft play.  The children had great fun whilst the adults enjoyed having a chance to relax with a hot drink.

Next, we had a delicious lunch in the picnic barn.

Miss Robertson and David’s brother Sam loved the crisps so much that they shared a big bowl full!

After lunch, we went back outside for a tractor ride.  It took us round the farm so we could see all of the animals.  Dylan and his brother Lucas liked when the tractor went over the bumps.

Although it was wet, our trip to the farm was great fun and we can’t wait for another family day out!

A big thank you to Mrs Stewart and all the staff for organising such a lovely day, it didn’t even matter that it was raining!

Oh, it is only fair to mention that Sam did not have so many of the crisps. Do you know what that means?
