P3lm have been enjoying the farm topic. Following our visit to the farm, we have been thinking about milk production and what happens on a dairy farm. We have been looking at milking times and milk production and linking our learning to maths as well as thinking about what we use milk for as its not just to drink! Did you know that cows each drink about 55 litres of water a day? Have you got any other farm related facts?

I’m pleased to hear that you are continuing to enjoy your farm topic. I didn’t know that cows drink up to 55 litres of water in a day. They must be very full up after all of that water. I don’t know any interesting farm facts, but ill keep thinking and let you know if I come up with any.
