The Grounds Group have been learning about the benefits of outdoor learning, helping to maintain our grounds and developing loose parts play.
During Grounds Day, each class and families focused on an area of our playground to tidy and plant new seeds.
We planted fruit trees which we have been picking at harvest for the school dining hall.
Following COP26, we worked with the Ranger Service to plant new trees as part of the Legacy Project.
The Grounds Group have been busy planting new flowers in our school grounds. We are looking forward to growing vegetables in the new planters too in Term 4.
Outdoor Learning has lots of benefits on our wellbeing.
