Visual Investigation

Drawing skills using the visual elements; line, shape, form, colour, tone, pattern and texture. Finished work – 4 drawings in varying media.

Me, Myself & I

Painting and compositional skills – applying warm and cool colours, wash, tone, texture and pointillism technique. Additional coloured pencil work where required. To convey ideas thoughts and feeling through expressive painting. Finished work – A3 mixed media piece.

Remembrance Day Display

Creating remembrance day poppies to display in the school atrium.

 

Navigational Exploration

Drawing skills using imagination with an awareness of maps, legends and keys. Using creative skills to generate original ideas and choice of media handling. Finished work – A3 Island Map.

Scottish Landscape

Researching Scottish Landscape artists and using surrounding landscape as inspiration to create a print. Printmaking skills – applying warm and cool greys, tone, texture. To convey ideas thoughts and feeling through expressive printmaking.

Gaudi’s Architecture

Drawing textures and patterns based on Gaudi architecture. Using inspiration from organic forms to produce a 3D outcome using clay.
