2023/2024 – January Update
Literacy
We have been working hard with our reading books in class, and have used our Active Literacy strategies.
This term we will be learning a Burns’ Poem, so look out for that!
In Writing, we wrote persuasive letters to Mrs MacKenna and have just completed an explanation text with examples of how we will make 2024 the healthiest year for ourselves.
Numeracy
In Numeracy we have just finished using written multiplication and division strategies and will be beginning to look at fractions, decimals and percentages – and a little bit of money, too!
Topic
Our topic this term will be American Road trip and the pupils have shared what they would like to learn and do for this theme. Listen out for what we’re learning. 🙂
