Welcome to out Primary 3 page! This year Primary 3 have two teachers; myself, Mrs Taylor, on a Monday and up until lunchtime on a Tuesday and then Mrs McCheyne for the remainder of the week. We also have Miss Hardie in our class at the beginning of the week.
We have had a great start to the year and are already fully engaged in our Houses and Home topic and will be taking walks around our local area to see what the houses look like where we live, look out for us!
We began our homework programme this week and have received some excellent work. Each night there are tasks to do, don’t worry which night these get done on, aslong as all are done by the end of the week that is all that we ask. Please get in contact if you have any problems and we will be able to help.
Google Classroom has been set up and a task will be added each week to complete for homework. This is to help us continue to be familiar with Google Classroom just incase we have any more remote learning. All children have been added to our page but again if you have difficulty logging on at home just get in touch. A common problem can be that when logging on on a tablet that we need to change our glow log on slightly to @sl.glow.scot instead of @glow.sch.uk.
Behaviour continues to be an important issue in our school and we will be colouring our diaries in every night to let you see how your child is doing. A green shows a day with no button moves, Amber- one button more and red- more than one. Again if any concerns just give us a wee call or a note in the diary.
