The school is open at normal. Please check the website for any changes.
The car park will remain closed this morning (24/1). This is due to heavy amounts of ice. We apologise for any inconvenience caused.
This Friday (25/1) for our Burns Day celebrations, the children are invited to wear something tartan to school such as ribbons or ties.
This is not a dress down day and children should be in full school uniform as normal with the exception of their tartan item!
Whilst we make every effort to ensure the school remains open, it may be necessary to close the school due to weather conditions.
Please make sure we have your up to date emergency contact numbers.
School closure information will be communicated through the school and South Lanarkshire Council websites.
Thank you
Tomorrow Primary 5 will begin a 12 week block with a music specialist where they will be learning the glockenspiel!

A reminder that the Burns Day celebrations for 2019 take place this Friday. We hope everyone is practising their poems!
Due to the success of the Big Book Swap during Woodpark’s Book Week 2018, we have decided to make it a permanent fixture!
Any time you and your child wishes to swap a book, you can now come to the main entrance where our new bookshelf is stocked with lots and lots of great books for infants, juniors and seniors!
Bring any book…swap it for another…easy!
A Tae-kwon-do club starts this Thursday (24/1). There are still places available so if any child in P5 or P6 wishes to go, please return their slips ASAP.
A select group of Primary 7 children have put themselves forward to become young sports leaders at Woodpark. For the next three Wednesdays the children will be taking part in training in the gym hall with Active Schools. They will take these games into our playground!
Please ask your child if they are involved in this!
