A reminder that the Primary 2 Book Bug Session takes place next Wednesday (4/12) from 3pm – 4:30pm. If you have not returned the letter but wish to attend with your child, please let the office know. These sessions are very valuable and give some great ideas for developing your child’s reading abilities.
In the run up to Christmas, we are closing our doors to parents for our Friday morning assemblies. This is due to nativity song preparation, we wouldn’t want to spoil it for you. We look forward to having you back at our Christmas Service and Nativity on Wednesday the 18th of December at 10am.Â
Scottish football referee Bobby Madden came to the school to meet with the football team this week. They asked great questions, got some autographs and were lucky enough to have him referee a game! The boys had a great time, check our twitter feed for pictures!
A big thank you to Mr Wylie from the boys football team for organising this!
Woodpark’s annual Christmas Fayre will be held in the school tomorrow evening from 4-6pm. Any home baking would be greatly appreciated. We look forward to seeing you there!
This year’s theme is ‘blether’ and the importance of talking to others. Each day the children are coming home with a question to blether to you about!
Monday’s blether question is…
‘Go home and ask an adult to tell you all about a family member or friend you don’t know much about’
…so they will be coming ready for a blether!
Thank you in advance for supporting.
