A busy month at Woodpark!
November Newsletter
The November Newsletter was sent home today. Please check your child’s Homelink for the orange letter which will let you know everything happening in the next few weeks.
Sun Book Tokens
We are still collecting Sun Book Tokens to get free books!
If you have any tokens you can put them in your child’s Homelink or bring them directly to the office. Some days the tokens are worth 10 or even 100 so keep an eye out!
A big thank you to the local shops for supporting us in the collection also!
Parent Helpers Meeting
An information meeting for people who kindly volunteered to become helpers in school will take place next Wednesday (7/11) at 11am.
Please return your forms to Mrs Duncan if will be attending the meeting.
Whole School Committees
Every child in the school will take part in the first whole school committees afternoon this Friday.
Please ask your child about the work they do in their committee and remember to check their class page after Friday to see what they are up to this term!
Dress Down Friday
This Friday (2/11) will be a Dress Down Friday.
Instead of sending your child with £1, we would really appreciate it if you could send them with a donation to the Tombola for the Christmas Fayre.
Thank you for your support as always!
PTA Back Packing
The PTA will be packing bags at Tesco this Saturday!
Please check the PTA Facebook page for details.
Winter Lunch Menu
Please check your child’s bag for the new Winter Lunch Menu. The new menu starts next week (29/10).
Tell your friends!
We really appreciate how many of you have taken advantage of this email subscription service! If any other parents or carers you know are not yet signed up we would be very grateful if you could tell them about it and direct them to the home page of the website where they can sign up quickly and easily.
Thanks for your support.
P1 Reading Workshop
The annual P1 reading workshop will take place tomorrow (25/10) at 6:30pm until 7pm (the first 30 minutes of the disco).
If you would like to attend, please drop your child at the disco then make your way up to the Primary 1/2 classroom. This is an excellent opportunity to find out how to best support your child’s reading and we would very much appreciate your attendance.
