A reminder that the Burns Day celebrations for 2019 take place this Friday. We hope everyone is practising their poems!
Due to the success of the Big Book Swap during Woodpark’s Book Week 2018, we have decided to make it a permanent fixture!
Any time you and your child wishes to swap a book, you can now come to the main entrance where our new bookshelf is stocked with lots and lots of great books for infants, juniors and seniors!
Bring any book…swap it for another…easy!
A Tae-kwon-do club starts this Thursday (24/1). There are still places available so if any child in P5 or P6 wishes to go, please return their slips ASAP.
A select group of Primary 7 children have put themselves forward to become young sports leaders at Woodpark. For the next three Wednesdays the children will be taking part in training in the gym hall with Active Schools. They will take these games into our playground!
Please ask your child if they are involved in this!
The Coalburn Brass Band family are delighted to announce a fun filled aftafernoon of workshops!
The event is free to all and will take place on Sunday 27 January from 12:30 – 4pm (registration from 12) in the Woodpark Primary gym hall.
The event is open to anyone with an interest in brass or percussion regardless of experience. New beginners are also welcome. Organisers ask that everyone arrives from midday for registration and extend an open invitation to family and friends to join for a short concert at 3.00pm for a concert featuring all participants!
