A reminder that the Primary 1 Reading and SHRE Workshop takes place tonight at 6:30pm. P1 parents should drop their child at the disco then make their way up to the Primary 1/2 classroom. This is an extremely worthwhile and informative talk and we hope to see as many people as possible there.
The football and netball teams are in action this Friday (25/10). All children involved have been notified and have their GAS forms home to be signed. Please make sure your child’s form is signed to allow them to take part.
Several different football clubs are being offered to different classes. Please check your child’s homelink for permission forms. If you have filled a form in, please check your child’s homelink for a slip confirming their place in the club and the starting date.

A reminder that the Woodpark Halloween Disco is this Thursday (24th)!
The disco runs from 6:30pm – 8pm and costs £2 on the door. There will also be a tuck shop.
All children must be picked up by an adult at 8pm.
Our choir this year will start back on Wednesday the 23rd of October at lunchtimes. This will take place in Primary 3 classroom. If possible please bring a packed lunch with you on this day as it allows us to start singing earlier!
The first focus will be Christmas! We will be performing throughout the festive period so lots of practise at home will help. Stay tuned for links to backing tacks etc.
Exciting news this year that we will be taking part in a school competition in March! More information to follow.
Book Club starts back today! Can children who have a place at Book Club please remember to bring a copy of Charlie and the Chocolate Factory if they have one.
Next week (10/10) will be the last session of Stay, Play and Learn before the holidays. Letters regarding further session will be sent home in Term 2.
A reminder that the Primary 6 Harvest Assembly takes place next Friday (11/10) at 10am. Parents and carers are welcome to come.
Primary 6 will also be collecting canned and non-perishable food to donate to the local food bank.
A reminder that the school will be closed for the October Holiday from Monday 14th – Friday 18th. The school will reopen as normal on Monday 21st.
