A reminder that the inter-house art competition starts today and all entries must be handed in by this Friday!
We are asking everyone to draw a picture of something that means ‘Lesmahagow’ to them. It could be the Memorial Fountain, the Priory, Woodpark Primary itself, a particular shop – anything they want! It can also be a historical photo from the internet if they want.
It can be realistic, or they can use their artistic licence!
The art can be in any medium (paint, pencil, crayon etc) and it can be any size – as long as your child is able to bring it into school.
All entries must have the child’s name, class and house written clearly on it and all entries must be brought into school on or before Friday 11th February.
Primary 1 Literacy and RSHP information session will be held on Wednesday 2nd February at 4pm.
Stickers have been put in your child’s diary with information on accessing the link to the Google Meet. If you are having trouble accessing the Google Classroom page please let Mrs Finlay know.
With only two days until the Woodpark Burns Competition (Thursday), the poems around the school are sounding fantastic!
A reminder that on the day of the competition, the children are allowed to wear something tartan / Scottish (no football strips).
Thank you for all your support in helping the children to learn their poems…and enjoy your haggis tonight if you’re having some!
