South Lanarkshire Parent/Carer Survey

Have your say – we would like your views as we plan for schools opening for all pupils in August. Please can you complete the short anonymous survey by June 15th? https://wh1.snapsurveys.com/s.asp?k=159126976790 Please note that the information being gathered through the surveys will be used only for the purposes set out by Education Resources with all personal data protected and not published, in line with General Data Protection Regulations.

Pupil Council

Last week, Ruth and Colin from Community Action Lanarkshire visited our Pupil Council. They have been working with a group of local shop keepers and volunteers from Lesmahagow, with a view to improving the local area. The children answered questions and created maps of their favourite parts of the village. This is very exciting and we hope we can really make a difference! If possible, could you please take some time to fill in their survey (below) which will also go towards plans for improving Lesmahagow. Simply add it to the “Reason to Assess” box what you would like to see in Lesmahagow and why. Thank you. Click here to access the survey

Child Wellbeing Survey

Woodpark Primary School will shortly be running a survey with P5 to P7 pupils. The survey is called the Children’s Wellbeing Survey. Each child will be asked to complete a short online questionnaire during class time. The results of the survey will be used to understand the wellbeing needs of children and help staff to improve services in your area.

In addition to the survey, information will be added to the survey answers. This is called data linkage. No names will be used when answering the survey or in linking the local authority information – there will be no way children or families can be identified. For more information on data linkage and other parts of the programme, please see the Frequently Asked Questions on the Realigning Children’s Services website:

Transforming Children’s Futures

This will help to improve the way children’s services are planned and delivered by your local authority and their partners, such as education or voluntary organisations. The results will not look at children’s responses on an individual basis. This ensures that all responses are unidentifiable. The results of the project will be used to understand the wellbeing needs of children in your area.
